ENGINEERING AND PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
This in-office position provides a broad range of technical support services for the production and engineering teams of an independent oil and gas company located in Midland, Texas.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Compiling production volumes, maintaining production status reports and oil and gas regulatory reports, all requiring a practical knowledge of New Mexico and Texas regulations providing timely updates to team.
Acts as a first line of support to Operations Manager, Engineers and Field support team.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of operations, including daily reports.
Create and utilize spreadsheets and databases.
Recognize variations, deviations, and opportunities from the data.
Collaborate with engineers and field personnel to plan, execute, and monitor drilling and completion activities.
Track, organize and code invoices received from vendors to monitor cost performance and ensure timely payment to vendors – Analyze facility metrics for performance improvement.
Support and assist operational managers in the fulfillment of their duties.
Assists in the identification, investigation, and correction of non-conformances.
All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS:
A basic understanding of data flow through field and production accounting systems. Experience supporting engineers in well data. A thorough understanding of administrative concepts, practices and procedures and a general knowledge of oil and gas standards and regulations.
