Accounting Specialist Full-time accounting position needed for fast-paced healthcare union office. Accounts Payable duties include invoice generation, maintaining and processing staff expenses through Concur, vendor invoice coding and entry, processing check runs, ACH runs, manual postings, and filling out direct bill applications. Minor accounts receivable duties include invoicing and follow-up for receipt of monies. Miscellaneous accounting projects may be assigned. Back up duties for 2nd accounting specialist when out of office include cash receipts, deposits, spreadsheet reports and GL accounting. Must be organized, detail oriented, computer and Excel spreadsheet proficient, possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable in a high-volume work environment. Two-year degree with focus in accounting or extensive experience required. Starting salary is $43,905 with automatic annual step movement and annual increases on the steps.
