About the ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Financial Analyst, you would provide professional analytical support to Central Arizona Project’s (CAP) financial management function. Support business planning and development of business strategies. Conduct analyses of assigned program policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvement. Plan or assist in planning analyses, presentations and implementation strategies for complete analyses or for portions of complex analyses requiring multiple disciplines. Support and act as a consultant to other groups and management. Provide technical guidance to other financial analysts. May act as backup to administrator for CAP’s EFP budget system.About the Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you would have a Bachelor's (or higher) degree in a business administration, finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years recent experience performing functions related to the essential duties of this position. OR, a Master's degree plus 3 years of related work experience. Must possess strong analytical and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment. Proficient in the use of spreadsheets. Detailed knowledge of financial forecasting and analysis, benefit / cost analysis, and creation and use of financial models.
