Financial Controller (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports, maintaining internal controls, and contributing to the strategic direction of the company’s finances while working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and management reports.

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting (as applicable).

• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

• Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and successful audits.

• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.

• Provide guidance to remote accounting teams across time zones.
